A 12th generation Bahamian with a thorough knowledge of The Bahamas and the legal intricacies of real estate and property investment, Diane T. Holowesko Dunkley is President of Holowesko Realty. She began her real estate career over 30 years ago with an international company representing properties and developers throughout the United States, Europe, and The Bahamas. She left her position in the U.S. as Senior Vice President to return home.
Diane earned her Master of Business Administration with Distinction from Babson College, and her Bachelor of Arts with Honours from the College of the Holy Cross, both in the United States. She studied law as an articled student before transitioning into real estate to follow her passion. Diane completed the Florida Real Estate Licensing Course, is a licensed with the Bahamas Real Estate Association, and was awarded the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation by the Council of Residential Specialists, U.S.
Diane lives in Lyford Cay, is a member of the Lyford Cay Club, and is a former Director of the Lyford Cay Property Owners Association. She enjoys golf, travelling, writing, conservation, and sailing, and has co-chaired numerous World Championship, and Western Hemisphere sailing regattas in various classes.
Diane's deep belief in giving back to the community has resulted in her life-long involvement and commitment with numerous organizations and foundations, and she has chaired many committees and fundraising events.
She is currently Chairman of the Town Planning Committee of The Bahamas, a statutory committee charged with carrying out the Planning and Subdivisions Act, 2010. She has been appointed by Cabinet as a Member of the Advisory Committee for the Introduction of Local Government to New Providence. She is also a Director of Holowesko & Company, Director of Ride for Hope Bahamas, Director of the Aiden Roger Carron Foundation, and Director of the Nassau Center for Arts & Technology
